Ronis Furquim creates scannography art through finding everyday objects around him. He has an observational eye in seeing what everyday objects can be turned into art. In some of his art pieces, he moves the objects around to form different faces. The faces showcase different expressions and this first one shows a smiling face. He likes making scannography images using sea shells, but he has also been known to use objects found in nature. He has scanned beehives, coral, and bamboo as well. One of the everyday objects he scanned was a broken CD, which he split in half and had the two pieces overlapping one another in the scanned piece.
