Image 1 is by Kate Cosgrove, they make scanned artworks from found things in nature that are no longer alive (bones, wood, nests, bugs). They want to see the things they find in a bigger size so the items are scanned in and blown up in size. 

          Image 2 is by J. Seeley former dark-room worker, Seeley's was an anti-digital artist for a long time. He reluctantly took some photoshop tutorials and got a scanner, then suddenly things clicked. This was a type of work Seeley has been looking for since college. His works consists of objects that have been collected over the years. The artwork has helped keep him out of the dark since the passing of his wife. 

Image 3 is by Jean-Louis Aubert, a painter, drawer, and photographer. Their work deals with ordinary objects like dead flowers or alive, skulls, sticks, books, trinkets. They are scanned onto an all black background and then brought into a digital program for editing and touchups.
