These are my own 4 images for the part 2 of the in-class assignment #2. I wanted to keep it simple and cool, so I only used my hands and a fake flower that I had. I loved the depth that I had seen in other artists work so I wanted to do that with my own hands, and I also decided to try out moving the flower as the scanner went down- and I loved the results.

These Images are done by Kate Cosgrove. What I found most interesting with these images/ what caught my eye the most, were the depth of the images and how illustrative they were. The space between the moth and the hand in the first image has so much depth that I find can be very intriguing and can give the image a completely different idea of meaning.

In the second image, I loved how it looked like a mix of an x-ray and a flower pressed into a book.

This image is my sketch of my idea for this project, the idea is to have a distortion between reality and a fantasy. So the sketch is of a 'fantasy world' where there is a tree on a floating piece of land, and there is a doorway in the middle of it. I want to have static kind of fading out the image.

UPDATE 9/9/22:

These three images are screenshots of what I have been working on this week. The first image is a screenshot of some of the images I have collected for this project. And the second image is a screenshot of one small section of my whole image. I chose to only show this section because it is what I have been working on the most so far, erasing parts and blending things together in this area. I also played a lot with color selection, invert, and blending options.

UPDATE 9/14/22:

Ive pretty much finished what I have.
